Japan Explores Opportunities in Foreign Electricity Production Space

Transferring energy through micro wave can be performed by Japanese scientists. It allows humans to harvest electricity from outer space through the solar power panels.

A trial conducted scientists Japanese Space Agency, JAXA, the successful sending of 1.8 kilowatts of energy through the air with accuracy as far as 55 meters.

Although its range is short, one day give birth to technologies that can be used humans to harvest energy from space and in use on Earth, JAXA said.

"This is the first time someone managed to send a high-power electrical energy, almost two kilowatts, through micro wave toward smaller targets, using special control devices."

JAXA over the years developed a wireless solar panel technology.

The solar panels in space has many advantages than his brother on earth, among others, the availability of sunlight is almost limitless and are not influenced by weather factors.

During harvesting electricity from space via the new solar panels in the form of a story from a science fiction movie. Space Station and dozens of satellites is utilizing solar energy. But the biggest problem is to transfer it back to Earth.

The idea, said a spokesman for JAXA, is a solar-paneled satellite is capable of transferring energy through microwave and orbiting the Earth at an altitude of 36,000 kilometers. "But it took several decades before we can see the practical result of this technology, perhaps the decade of 2040's, he said.

"But in this case there are still some challenges that must be passed, how to send it into space equipment, how to assemble and how to maintain."
